Venue:    Bella Vista Restaurant - 84 Emu Bank, Belconnen -  located on the waterfront near the footbridge and opposite Lake Ginninderra College.  A link to the restaurant’s location is  available on our website for those who are not familiar with the area.
Time: 6.30 for 7 pm
Cost:  $50  per person for a three- course meal, glass of wine or juice, and tea or coffee.

CES Annual Meeting
CES AGM will be held at 6 pm on Monday 10 August 2015 in the Boardroom of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture (ACC&C), which is upstairs in George Browning House, 15 Blackall St, Barton.  This is the building closest to the ACC&C car park.  The entrance is to the building's rear, off the car park.  All members and intending members are welcome.  The formal part of the evening will be followed by a discussion of next year's theme.  Please come along and add your views.   The evening will conclude with drinks.  
Would you like to support CES by becoming a member or rejoining? 
CES membership runs over the financial year.  You do not need to be a member to receive our e-bulletins but if you would like to support us through your membership, the cost is just $15 single ($10 concession) or $20 joint/family ($15 ).  If you have joined or renewed since April, then you are already covered for the next 12 months.   Membership forms and details for payment can be found on our website.  Click on then the About Us menu at the top of the home page.  A side menu then allows you to go to either the membership form or membership renewal form.

Australians for Justice and Peace in Palestine (AJPP)
AJPP have advised that the Australian Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN) is promoting a National Press Club lunch for former Palestinian President Salam Fayyad  at 11.30 am on Tuesday 8 September.  Australia Friends of Palestine Association is hosting Mr Fayyad's time in Australia.  Information can be found on the National Press Club website:
APAN has been given a donation which enables them to subsidise tickets.  Tickets are normally $79, but with the subsidy, APAN can offer at them at $39 per person.
